The Oregon Ducks have been making headlines for their innovative and unique uniform designs and combinations since the 1999 redesign of their “O” logo and uniforms by Nike. In the 2012 Rose Bowl the Ducks made a big splash with a new inspiration in helmet decals, chrome. Since then, chrome helmet decals have become a hugely popular style for football and lacrosse alike. Chrome and metallic colors have added a new dimension to classic decals, so it’s not surprising that they have become as popular as they have. They reflect and bounce light creating a much more vibrant looking helmet than traditional colors can offer.

The Worland Aquatic Center located in Wyoming has been providing a fun and safe environment for competitive swimming for many years. So when they trusted us design and manufacture a new natatorium record board for their facility we were very excited about the project. As with most projects the most difficult part was figuring out the design and record board style that would provide the best look, viewing distance and ease of updating records.

I grew up in sweaty locker rooms and musty weight rooms, so I am very familiar with the fact that there are 100 different ways to get results. Any decent strength coach knows that results only come through effort. My college strength and conditioning coach used to emphasize that muscles didn’t have eyes, so therefor it didn’t matter if you were carrying dumbbells or gallons of milk. I think that was more an excuse to make us push his truck in the snowy parking lot or to run stadium stairs with 45 pound plates. Regardless, we were whooped at the end of the workouts!
